What happens to what you send us, in plain terms. What we collect, what we never do with it, and how to have it deleted.

This is a small website run by one household. This page says exactly what happens to what you send us, in the plainest terms available.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form on this site. The inquiry form asks for your name, your email address, an optional telephone number, and whatever you choose to tell us about your household. The agreement form additionally asks for your address and records the drawn signature you make on it.

Every submission also records the IP address it came from and the time it arrived. That is a fraud control and nothing else.

What we do with it

We answer you. That is the whole purpose. Inquiries are stored on this website so that a failed email can never lose your message, and they are emailed to us so that we see them promptly.

We do not sell it, we do not share it with anybody, and we do not put you on a marketing list. There is no newsletter here to be added to.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept while they are useful and deleted when they are not. Signed agreements are kept for the life of the dog, because the return clause in them has no expiry date and both parties may need to point at the document years later.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third party analytics. WordPress may set a session cookie if you log in to the administration area, which only we do. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them.

Photographs

We publish photographs of dogs. We do not publish photographs of children, and we do not publish anybody’s surname. The reviews on this site carry first names only.

Asking us to delete something

Write to info@homesteadgoldenretrievers.com and ask. We will delete what we hold on you, except where we need to keep a signed agreement as a record of an agreement you and we both entered into.
