Delia is the deepest coated dog we have, and she is the reason we can write honestly about red coats: we have watched hers change through four summers and it barely moves.
She is the most active of the three mothers by a wide margin. She wants a long walk every day and she is much happier for having had one. A puppy out of Delia is not the puppy for a household that wants a dog to sleep through a working week, and we say so before anybody puts a deposit down.
She is also the best of them with new people, which is a useful thing in a litter that is going to meet a lot of strangers before it is eight weeks old.

Why this dog is bred from
Every dog here has been seen by our veterinarian, and we will tell you what was found on any of them if you ask. There are no registry papers, no hip, elbow, eye or cardiac scoring and no genetic panel behind any of them, and we will not imply otherwise. A claim we cannot back is worth less to you than no claim at all.
What decides it is temperament. A dog that is anxious, sharp or unhappy around people is not bred from here, whatever else is true about her, because a litter learns how to be a dog from its mother long before it learns anything from us.
